A little bit about me
Toronto-based U/X designer with over 7 years of marketing experience. I believe in the notion that a good user experience is designed with clarity in mind, not just simplicity.
Immersion into U/X design
From April to June 2016, I committed myself to Bitmaker's full-time bootcamp course focused on user experience and product design. The program placed me under the guidance of industry experts drawn from Wealthsimple, Opera, Shopify, and Filament Creative. The hands-on curriculum instilled me with the iterative framework needed for building and enhancing user experiences.
History with U/X design
My involvement with user experience design began prior to enrolling in Bitmaker. Within my tenure at TELUS, I was charged with enhancing the Online Merchandising System developed by Unefi. A web-based merchandising tool that provides a means to coordinate the development, production and communication of in-store marketing campaigns. From 2011 to 2012, this encompassed researching, user interviewing, requirements writing, project managing, testing and overseeing the successful launch of the system's new version into 700 stores nationwide.
